Schoeller manufactures in accordance with the bluesign®-standard, the world’smost stringent production standard in terms of environmental, health and safety requirements. Schoeller was also instrumental in the foundation of the bluesign®-standard. It is our aim to develop innovative textiles and textile technologies which contain the “Best Available Technology” for ecology and sustainability. With every new Schoeller development, bluesign® compatibility is the first question addressed. In the case of finishing technologies based on chemical products, in particular, the bluesign®-standard offers reliable safety for producers, consumers and the planet. The bluesign®-standard guarantees the highest possible freedom from toxic substances and the most economical use of resources through the entire textile chain. It permits the use of only those components which cannot harm humans or the environment and which do not place an extra burden on resources.
